"Race relations" have deteriorated because certain elements could not come to terms with the fact that they have a black president, and felt they needed to make their presence known. They have treated President Obama with an unprecedented lack of respect. To blame Obama is complete and utter nonsense. But it is the modus operandi.

"yet"...but what happens when the veritable "kitchen sink" has been thrown at the problem and then it downturns in earnest and on a global basis?

That is what is lost in all of this back and forth...we can argue all we want about what the numbers add up to...what percentage of GDP we're at...what the real inflation rate is...etc till the cows come home...but just about every sensible person realizes that all of this is a stop-gap measure that does nothing to addresses structural problems, demographic problems, worldwide "wage arbitrage" and a whole slew of other issues (massive debt leverage, corp buybacks, generational loan debt, etc)...and does anyone have the confidence that this current Fed has the wherewithal to steer these markets with the headwinds of all the other markets facing even more structural issues?
