Wow. You and T-Dog really must be short on life options to dedicate such time to this thread. I wouldn't take a minute to piss on you guys if you were on fire.
You're missing two points. One a gambler should well understand.
I'll get the TOS crap out of the way first. In my view, for a long time member to provide a link or two to his own site is not a violation-particularly to a site that isn't competition to ET itself. Posting a link, letting other ET'ers know Ecktrade
exists is not what the TOS is concerned about. You might want to spend time out of P&R to see bona fide spamming. Until Joe Blow in post #1 titles a thread "Ecktrade Changed My Life" there's very little TOS violating going on here.
As far as audited records. Don't you see the duplicity when coupled with this statement " I have also seen some people who could trade their own account who failed miserably when trading the money of others."?
Yes I could post an audited track record from the past three years that's stunning. It would raise me a SHIT LOAD of money. Then why don't I do it? Because it would be MISLEADING. Not for the reason you suggest-part of my 3 years was on a split so OPM isn't a factor-but the bet I made yesterday has NOTHING TO DO with the bet I'll make to-morrow. The last thing I want is people going into the pool thinking "this guy is great I'm going all in you should see his numbers." I want people to go in thinking, "I hope this guy is ok but I'll probably regret cutting him a check." That's the idea behind
trading live. The track record then becomes a living organic thing-people will SEE ME STRUGGLE with all of the decisions us traders make and then decide based on REAL TIME information if this is for them. That's why the 2k buy in as well. Why not let small guys learn something, buy a lotto ticket and if it doesn't work out-I'd like to think I'll at least keep from going to
zero-at least they can say it was worth it, "I learned what
not to do watching that nut-case." For me to show 06-09 and then have someone put up a 100k in life savings for me to then drop 75k is a guilt trip I just don't need. I'm focused on the now moment not some Corn trade from 2006. If the performance is there I'll have a thousand clients at 5k each some day. No one need to worry about ruining someone's life and I can trade without all that pressure.
And yea the site is ugly and stupidly written. I need to streamline it. Too many cooks in the kitchen....
Quote from OPTIONAL777:
I don't question Pabst ability to trade.
I question his ethics, and violation of the TOS. I have also seen some people who could trade their own account who failed miserably when trading the money of others.
I also question why even bother with a puny little 2K buy in.
I see no audited track record on his site by an independent qualified auditor.
In addition, I questioned the lack of quality in Pabst commercial website, the "pitch" yada, yada, yada...
It is all so cheesy and classless, but that is typical for Pabst...
Of course you posting screen shots of someone's account is soooo very impressive.
ROTFLMAO...
