POLL...Best API for for IB order entry...

There's quite a few API's for order entry using IB's TWS, so I
thought I'd run this poll.

What's your favorite API...

suggestion...

add a "don't know" or "don't use any of these" option so people who don't have an opinion can see the poll results. Only people that vote can see poll results.

As with the Stock & Commodities magazine user rankings, your poll results will show more what people are using than what is good, but hopefully these are correlated.

You are changing the traditional meaning of the term API. The programs you refer to are applications, not API's as the term is known in software development.

As an example, go to the IB web site and you will find what is meant by an API. Not adhereing to standard terminology is a disservice to some readers.

I'm a software developer and realize it's incorrect terminology but at the same time, anyone should be able to figure out what the poster intended by reading the post. It's not rocket science.

Just as a side question, what are the security risks that come with using programs of this type? I have no reason to believe any of these programs do anything malicious, but what is the potential? Could they send the writer of the program account info? Username and passwords? My guess is that the important info is insulated and is contained in the TWS which must be running at the same time. (But I don't wan't to learn the hard way)

Any opinions?
