Paulson started by forcing banks to take TARP money - even ones that didn't want it.

Once gov't fingers were in the pie, did he really think they were going to let go so easily?

Then all the others saw the freebies and came with their wheel barrels to D.C.

I meant the budget deficit.

Of course most of it is from Republic administrations. The Republicans have had the Presidency for 20 of the last 28 years. Did you just think of that yourself?

Of course you do know that there about 53 milion voters who would hope that you not. Many Many good folk would hope that you'd stay where you are.

Quote from Cesko:

It is pretty clear to me that Obama's supporters are not liberals, but statist.

Whatever they are, I call them idiots, retards, imbecils, cretins etc.. That's just English version.
Lots of them are rasists too.

Obama supporters according to exit polls are among the highest educated and highest paid in the country as opposed to the redneck, gun toting, racists who supported Palin and whoever that guy was who ran with her.

Nice misspelling of "racist"and "imbeciles"; it helps support my point.

You did get "cretins" and "retards" correct; congratulations I consider that very good for the typical dittohead.

It's like manna from heaven dealing with the right.

Thanks,

Seneca

Dude, you really need to take an English As A Second Language Course.

I know 8th graders that have a much better command of English grammar and spelling than you.

:D

Jekuluss is getting full on rope-a doped in this thread. I almost have as much sympathy watching him getting his ass beat as I did George Foreman when he first got rope-a-doped by Ali in Ziare.

Almost.

Quote from drjekyllus:

I don't recall calling anyone a socialist. I do call people statist because that description is what best fits Obama supporters. I used to use the word liberal, but I stopped using that word because it really does not describe Obama and his supporters very well. I am a liberal by definition.

Liberalism is a broad class of political philosophies that considers individual liberty and equality to be the most important political goals.[1]

"Liberalism emphasizes individual rights and equality of opportunity. Within liberalism, there are various streams of thought which compete over the use of the term "liberal" and may propose very different policies, but they are generally united by their support for constitutional liberalism, which encompasses support for: freedom of thought and speech, limitations on the power of governments, the rule of law, an individual's right to private property, and a transparent system of government."

"Statism (or Etatism) is a term that may refer to any (or all) of the following:

Government having a major role in the direction of the economy, both through state-owned enterprises and indirectly through the central planning of overall economy.
The "concentration of economic controls and planning in the hands of a highly centralized government."
The Fascist concept of statism which holds that "basic concept that sovereignty is vested not in the people but in the national state, and that all individuals and associations exist only to enhance the power, the prestige, and the well-being of the state. The fascist concept of statism repudiates individualism and exalts the nation as an organic body headed by the Supreme Leader and nurtured by unity, force, and discipline."

You "good folk" can have it. I will be quietly waiting and watching. Lets see where we are in two to three years when they finish dismantling capitalism. :D

Well you haven't been too quite so far.

And can someone over the age of 18 explain "Rope-a-dope" to Jerkalous. I don't have the time or the desire to educate the youth.

No, I haven't have I? I do not see anything happening yet to silence me.

Rope-a-dope: Boxing technique employed by Cassius Clay whereby he drew his opponent to the edge of the ring. He would proceed to allow the boxer to wear himself out while Clay protected his midsection and head, occasionally throwing jabs.
