People are way too sensitive these days.

YouTube Asian ranter Alexandra Wallace leaving UCLA after receiving death threats
Alexandra Wallace, the southern California undergraduate who apologized for her recent YouTube rant about the âhordes of Asian people that UCLA accepts into our school every single year,â said Friday that she will no longer be attending classes at UCLA.
In a statement to the college newspaper, The Daily Bruin, Wallace said, âthe harassment of my family, the publishing of my personal information, death threats and being ostracized from an entire communityâ has caused her to leave the university.
âIn an attempt to produce a humorous YouTube video, I have offended the UCLA community and the entire Asian culture,â Wallace said in the statement. âEspecially in the wake of the ongoing disaster in Japan, I would do anything to take back my insensitive words. I could write apology letters all day and night, but I know they wouldnât erase the video from your memory, nor would they act to reverse my inappropriate action.â
On the Sunday after Japanâs 8.9 magnitude earthquake, Wallace went on YouTube to complain about UCLAâs Asian population. Wallace berated Asians for being loud in the library, inviting their families over to do their laundry and for not using âAmerican manners.â Wallace quickly removed her posting from the Internet, but it had already gone viral by that point.
âHi. In America, we do not talk on our cell phones in the library,â Wallace said in her YouTube video, claiming that Asians often scream into their phones while she is trying to focus on schoolwork in the library. Wallace went on to say, âohhhhhh ching chong,â mocking a generic Asian language.
Though Wallace expressed racist sentiment in her YouTube video, many critics have responded to her tirade by posting equally disturbing YouTube videos.
One YouTube user, Jason, said he believes Wallace needs to be beaten.
âAlexandra, you are a deeply troubled, mischievous little fuckface who deserves to be slapped in the fucking face, and I mean hard. Okay, why would I say that?â¦Now I honestly, women shouldnât be hit, others fucking feminism bullshit, well fuck that. Some bitches need to be fuckinâ slapped in the face, and sheâs definitely one of them.â
