Police Lied -- Mike Brown Was Killed 148 Feet Away from Darren Wilson's SUV

Distance is essential to the defense and how Darren Wilson must demonstrate that he "reasonably feared for his safety."

For 104 days, the police have lied and said Mike Brown was killed 35 feet away from Darren Wilson's SUV. It was actually 148 feet.

This distance is essential to the defense and how Darren Wilson must demonstrate that he " reasonably feared for his safety." At the point in which Mike Brown ran half a football field away, how reasonable is it for an armed officer to fear anyone? more . . .

What complete nonsense. Distance is meaningless. The question is if the officer feared for his life when Brown was charging him aggressively.

Let's go to the Grand Jury and see what they thought about this...

This changes everything.

The cops lied. Yeah, there's a shocker.

As far as the charging claim, that's most likely just more bullshit. Several witnesses said there was no charging. Why are they assumed to be less trustworthy than the one who said there was?

As far as the wingnuts are concerned, the report is all lies. I'm looking forward to a trial.

This isn't anywhere near over.

So wait a moment...."dailykos" and "alternet" broke the case? Holy cow! Reconvene the Grand Jury! Quick! Someone is getting away with murder!

Never mind that - if it were true - MSNBC and CNN would be blaring it 24/7.

Good grief, Charlie Brown. You are a blockhead.

Six supposed witnesses said in the article that Brown was shot at from behind. Hmm, why did the multiple autopsies state all bullets entered him from the front? I suppose this could explain why certain witnesses weren't believed.

Most cops are lousy shots. Why do you think there are so many reports where the cops shot 30 times but only 9 bullets hit the suspect? That's a bit of an exaggeration but not much. If Darren Wilson was so terrified of Brown that he felt compelled to compare himself to a small child facing Hulk Hogan, that would explain a lot including his lousy aim. Given the givens, maybe Wilson was just a lousy cop in general. This traffic stop would have been handled very differently by a truly competent and professional cop.
