The biggest crime that leads towards unarmed people getting shot is not murder, rape, or aggravated assault, it's the misdemeanor of resisting arrest. Black people are charged with this crime a lot more often. Is it possible they're overcharged for the same level of resisting which skews some of the statistics? Yes. How much? Nobody knows. If you have any interaction with a police officer you should video it. Even though police officers break laws/people's rights as well, everybody knows that the judges are biased towards their word and not yours in a court.
