Why the Mods allow a sedition spewing traitor on these boards is beyond me.
Ah ha ha. I made you mad. Dipshit.
Why the Mods allow a sedition spewing traitor on these boards is beyond me.
What the **** are you talking about? Collapsing scientific support?
LOL The consensus is essentially 100%.
There are NO publishing climatologists that deny man made global warming.
Why are righties so friggin stupid?
Hey, if temperatures had continued rising at the high rate predicted back in the 1990s, support would still be strong. Instead we have the pause. And I guess the release of all those secret emails didn't help.
When it's actually put to a vote, there's close to 100% agreement that temperatures have been increasing since roughly 1970, but beyond that, there is no consensus that (a) more than about half of that temperature rise is due to man's activity, or that (b) there is any danger in the rising temperatures or rising levels of CO2.
You keep forgetting that this is not something I'm debating. I agree that close to 100% of climatologists agree that man's activity causes "global warming". That's not the subject of debate. The subject of debate is "how much warming does it cause." And that's where the science no longer supports the fears you like so much.
You keep forgetting that my position is that the planet is getting warmer and that man has caused some of that. What's wrong with your memory? Since you're a leftie, you probably use a lot of marijuana. Did you know that it effects your memory?
Hey, this is more research bought and paid for by the same government that brought you the global warming science, LOL:
Cannabis-related episodic memory deficits and hippocampal morphological differences in healthy individuals and schizophrenia subjects.
Smith, Cobia, Reilly, Gilman, Roberts, Alpert, Wang, Breiter and Csernansky
Hippocampus, 2015 March 11 [Epub ahead of print]
Cannabis use has been associated with episodic memory (EM) impairments and abnormal hippocampus morphology among both healthy individuals and schizophrenia subjects. Considering the hippocampus' role in EM, research is needed to evaluate the relationship between cannabis-related hippocampal morphology and EM among healthy and clinical groups. We examined differences in hippocampus morphology between control and schizophrenia subjects with and without a past (not current) cannabis use disorder (CUD).
...
Shape differences observed in CON-CUD were associated with poorer EM performance, while shape differences observed in SCZ-CUD were associated with a longer duration of CUD and shorter duration of CUD remission. A past history of CUD may be associated with notable differences in hippocampal morphology and EM impairments among adults with and without schizophrenia.

There is no pause.

There is broad consensus that most of the warming of the last fifty years is due to man.
Pardon me if I've forgotten your position. It's hard to keep straight all the various right wing nuts here and you say the same ludicrous things like "Collapsing scientific support".
You are right about one thing. There is no pause. Because there never was a trend in the first place. It was just a phony, manufactured data stream.
And actual temps and the global warming con models will continue to diverge since they were constructed using the same phony, adjusted data.
And you'll continue to be astonished when the models permanently diverge from reality because you've bought the BS hook, line and sinker.
There is no pause.
Just stopping at your first one... If the rest of the planet's warming is paused, but the Indian Ocean is warming, then the planet is warming. It's clear that you don't read the science literature. You get your information from websites that cater to your beliefs. Here are some peer reviewed articles about the pause that you deny exists, LOL. I pulled these off of the Nature website which is probably the most authoritative journal in science. The debate goes on whether you take notice of it or not:
Indian Ocean may be key to global warming 'hiatus'
18 May, 2015, Julia Rosen, Nature News
The Indian Ocean may be the dark horse in the quest to explain the puzzling pause in global warming, researchers report on 18 May in Nature Geoscience1.

Hard for most of us to get our heads around problems centuries in the making. I admit I'm much more disturbed by the amount of plastics and other trash in the oceans, today. There is also the niggling detail of putting the "pause" into the context of centuries, much less millennia . . .
