It is a good article on the issue of focus, but if you don't plug your leaks, you will also die.

I propose that a middle ground, spending time in "leaks" that you enjoy, is probably the optimal solution.

Nobody is "getting anywhere", as everyone dies eventually. The focus should be on healthy and joyful living, which normally involve people that you love, although too much of that is probably not very good either.
