Please Review My Bid/Ask Strategy

Quote from bone:

Bid / Ask sizing ultimately has nothing to do with the direction that price takes in the future. Initiating (aggressive offer lifting or bid hitting) order flow can be helpful for very short timeframe horizons.

I've been viewing my bid / ask spread as I write this post and I have to say I totally agree with you.

I'm just soooooooooo glad I was just sim trading to test it.

it's way too simple approach and won't work in today's market. simply because of their current microstructure. today,we(the retailers) have no tools to fight with pro's on such short term. have any of you noticed, that every possible tool that can be used to gain any advantage was gradually closed for general public? every single piece of valuable info that could be analyzed i believe purposely been either closed,limited to useless,priced to the sky or FBAR-ed.

Yep. That's why Paul Rotter quite several years ago.

Automation = efficiency.

To succeed in business it is essential to concentrate on all the aspects. Bid writers play a vital role in getting a business deal.It is better to take the assistance of expert bid writers.

Locutus,

I wonder if anyone agrees with you? I've used it for a short while and I would tend to agree..

Anyone [profitable]would agree, bid/ask prices DO NOT predict;
especially since talk is not walk:cool:

You may find may months of bid prices helpful in bear trend;
you may find many months of asking prices helpful in bull trend.

Of course since many market makers do honor quotes;
a brief glance may help, briefly.But as the old traders say ''trend is friend''.

Its not ''bid ask smoke is friend''.LOL Latter line is joke, not true:D

Hi Bob, I'm curious exactly which data you're referring to... care to mention specifics?
