i had the same problem for 14 years.as do many people.
good risk management solves it for some.

i think the primary reason this happens is that we do not factor probability ...or understand it......direction of market is easy but how far that direction will remain for?

exit is determined by probability.

@mute9003 No, this is not a good place. Do not listen to anything padu says/types. He told me, in an audio call, that he does not give advice. Meanwhile, he continues to do so over and over in threads like this. He is a FX trader who shows occasional sim charts of him making 3 or 4 bux per week.

He will tell you to never ever read trading books, because they did not work for HIM, and thus they will not work for YOU. And he will tell you that Brooks is the only trading method that will ever work, ever, period, even though in a 12 year bull market, he (padu) has not made any money.

Take your question to the trading section, and post the instruments, charts, and entries/exits with timeframes of your trades. It is the only way you will get objective feedback.
