Please recommend short term swing. stocks

Please Id like to hear about what stocks would be suitable for 1-3 day swing trading. Or at least what parameters to look for.
Unfortunately there's no answer to your question as it's extremely broad-based. Or the answer could be 1000's and 1000's of stocks are suitable for swing trading. Did you mean starting on Monday? Or in general?
Any stock that is either trending up or down, or starts trending up or down, or starts making any kind of move up or down can be suitable for swing trading. See what I mean? While I know you mean well, it sounds like you're throwing darts.

OK, could be starting Monday. As I will be starting my trading then.
Actually what I meant was if there are certain stocks for this type of trading like there are those for daytrading we all know (JNPR, CIEN, AMAT, AMGN, BRCD, BRCM, CHKP, NEWP, NTAP etc etc etc).
I thought there could be some like that ones.

I have to agree. For a new trader I don't think you can do better than the QQQ's. Learn how to trade them first, then branch out. Huge liquidity, tight spreads. It's true they don't move as much as a lot of stocks but when your starting out that works in your favor. You can scalp them, daytrade or swing or hold them for a couple of years. Wonderful vehicle.
I swingtrade and I try to avoid the stocks that are the daytrading favorites, i.e. the high volatility, large volume stocks. I don't daytrade (except when a swingtrade doesn't work, which is often these days) and I do not understand how the daytrader's activities affect these stocks. Also I am a minnow and don't want to swim in the same pond as the big fish.
Stocks with typical daily volume in the 150,000 to 600,000 range seem to work best for me, although I do sometimes stray outside these parameters.

Good question. I think it depends on your criteria for entering the trade. Let's say you look for stocks that have been down for two days but are in an uptrend. I wouldn't want to mess with dodgy stocks that might hit you with a pre-announcement after hours. Stick with high quality stuff, like FNM, the drugs, energy.
I think the options suggestion is actually a good idea too, provided you use spreads. That way you have a pre-defined downside risk. Credit spreads are ideal, then the stock doesn't have to go up for you to make money.
