Same story with Rogers in the Packers playoff game. He took 2 different helmet to helmet hits and neither was called, both could easily have changed the game. Penalties are missed on both sides, it's still up to a team to come up with enough points to win. This one is a sore point for me. My oldest high school team was called for baloney penalties ar no call was made on a few obvious penalties, and they lost, a lot. I would give kids a ride home after games and I laid into them one day when I had heard enough whining about we should have, but the refs blew it. I told them maybe they should have made a tackle or 2, or not dropped a few passes. etc. Silence the rest of the way home. I called the coach and asked if he talked about not blaming the refs, and he started going on about yea, but the refs this or that. I let him know where i stood, which probably wasn't to popular. Long story longer, they lost their last game of season when 2 players started spouting off to the refs and were called for unsportsmanlike conduct. Ball on the 8 now form the 23 with the score tied. Big mouth shoots his mouth off again, ball to the 4, next play is a td and game over. Of course it wasn't their fault. I tore my son a new asshole on the way home even though it wasn't his big mouth.
Sorry for the rambling, my point being calls go both ways, you still need to go out and put up more points.
