Joe Namath had a CAREER QB rating of under 66
Vikes had everything necessary to go all the way this year. But, Favre's all or nothing arm did them in like the Bambino striking out more than anybody. I'd like to see the Saints take it.

The saints fucking suck ass. They're going to get their sorry Superdome Katrina asses run over by the Colts and I'm going to celebrate it.
You don't achieve most wins all time, most TDs passing all time, most yds passing all time, most completions all time, most consecutive games played all time and a host of other accolades at the QB position without being exceptional. While many would say Brett wasn't the greatest of all time, he's certainly on a short list.
He's 3 tds short of 500....he's gotta come back for one more season, right?

If that was Brett's last game, it was a great game to end his great career on. Seeing him take the beating that he took and still limp back onto the field and play his heart out was pretty amazing. It really shows how much or an iron man he really is. Any other QB would not have finished that game.
The great thing about Favre, regardless if he wins of loses, is that heâs so much fun to watch. His boyish enthusiasm when he plays the game is just so entertaining â from his ass slaps, high fivein the refs, sprinting down field to celebrate a TD, trying to block a linebacker, or "pants on the ground" - watching him play cant help but bring a smile to anyoneâs face. with a league full of convicted felons, selfish players (ocho cinco, moss, owens...), and a handful of money hungry 20 year olds...watching favre play is a relief, it just brings you back to the days of when you played pickup ball with your friends at the park on a muddy day, and the only play was "go deep"...
And lets not downplay the Saintsâ¦.they are a damn good team. I think the main factor was home field advantage. If that game was in MN, no doubt about it, Vikings would have wonâ¦

What really sucks is the local news morons here are all talking about how funny it will be to watch Minnesota go through the retirement game. They don't seem to see that they are babbling on as much as the last four years of yes/no retirement crap. Cripes, I loved the guy, but I've had enough and he plays for the Queens now, so enough! The only thing worse would have been if it was the Bears. I feel pretty confident saying Illinois folks wouldn't have been safe crossing the border. lol

Favre had a rating around 105 until this game this year. He truly was a key to the team making it this year. It would have been a battle for the division if Tavaris, or what his name had been the QB.
