Holy crap! The lack of knowledge is mind blowing sometimes when it comes to trading leveraged financial products. Do people even read the contract specs?

You'd have to pick up your delivery at the licensed warehouses. A futures exchange is no Amazon!!!

Also one contract is for 15,000 pounds of FCOJ at the ICE. It settled for 150.90 per pound. The full contract is worth 2.25m USD.

Jesus Christ @FCAPhil what are you smoking??

I have had a semi tractor trailer full if corn in my driveway

If you buy a contract of live hogs to eat it all, you will be in pretty good shape for bacon and pork chops for a while.
Is pig manure a tradeable commodity? I mean, you can trade anything, but I mean on an exchange. I know you don't want to sell all those delicious hams and tenderloins and ribs and neckbones and stuff.

We used to wind up desk juniors by telling them to make sure they bought the VIX futures on a physically settled basis. If any of them asked, we said we stored the volatility we had been delivered in the basement.
