its more complicated than that really, I am a pretty successful spot gold and FX trader (options there too)
so I am experimenting right now, more like hedging and arbing....
thats why i am wondering about what happens at option expiry, i dont really ever intend on selling the options
kind of messing around, seeing how they work, seeing what happens, trial by fire lol
I am surprised so far how few trades each option has per day. Who the hell spends all day moving the bids and asks but never biting? computers?

autospreader from TT are the bid/ask you see. Forget trading gold options, it doesnt work. The spread is wider than wide. Stick with your london gold fix.

i am not trying to trade the gold options though
I am trying to use them mainly to hedge /lock in profit on other positions
unless someone knows of a place to find better gold options?
