As far as dead children are concerned, no I don't care. My ultimate decision about their death being good or bad is based on whether or not the mode of death was good or bad. In order for the mode of death to have been good it would have had to be environmentally friendly.
Then by your own, ahem, "logic," you reveal your hypocrisy. Nothing about those children's death was "environmentally friendly." As such, you are admitting their deaths were "bad," however you define the word. The SS extermination camps were environmentally friendly. Fire and ash replaced to great extent the need to desecrate Mother Earth with the corpses of Jews whom you would no doubt term as worthless as those Iraqi children (or would you?). As such, their deaths were "good" by your rationale.
If you had to choose between the life of a paralyzed human or preserving an acre of forest, it is clear which your choice would be. At the very least, you would subject him or her to a 40-page questionaire requesting details of their "contributions" and justifications for their existence v.s. that patch of mango trees. Your final question would invariably end with "are you a god idiot?"
