I didn't read all this thread, but I didn't have to. Banning, censoring or otherwise silencing people because we find them or their views offensive is a traditional tool of the left. It is the basis for the entire PC framework. It's easier to just ban someone than debate their views, particularly if their views are difficult to defeat with rational argument.

Internet boards, of all places, should be very careful about falling into this trap. The mainstream media, big corporations, the government and universities are already venues where unorthodox viewpoints are effectively banned.

ZZZ is probably the single poster I have the most disagreements with on this board. He can be rude and annoying at times, but he can also make some very intelligent arguments. I personally think this board would be far more boring without him. Anyone who finds him beyond tolerance has an easy solution, the ignore button.

I love to debate views and exchange ideas with people who do not agree with me. It is what makes life interesting. In this thread, which you have clearly stated that you did not have to read to draw your conclusions, I refer to malicious and disingenuous conduct often initiated for the sole purpose of disrupting an honest debate. I refer to ZZZzzzzzzz's predatory conduct. Honest debate? Who here has more posts than ZZZzzzzzzz, let alone when combined with his previous aliases? Now, there is nothing wrong with a high post count. However, against this background of a very high post count, when have you once read in any of his posts that he might have been wrong? Ever? He's never wrong, he typically incites outrage because of his duplicity and aggressive/abrasive behavior, and he's always an asshole. Did you not get the part about his flirting with pedophilia, or was that just something else you didn't have to read in order to draw your own conclusions?

Wait a second. You mean we shouldn't ban people who have different views, are passionate, aggressive and/or present extreme alternative views? We shouldn’t all act like the same vegetable? Hmmm, how 2008!

<b>No one is suggesting banning LoZZZer for expressing its political views!</b> The troll's politics aren't even all that extreme, when compared to the various neo-nazis and terrorists who habitually defecate upon these boards.

Insisting for pages on end that a study from 2005 is really from 2003 (first three pages of this thread), has absolutely nothing to do with 'expressing views'! It's one of the hundreds (thousands?) of instances where the troll utilizes its 'winning by losing' tactic- Steadfastly insisting that up is down and black is white, just to piss people off.

With due respect, Anna, I believe you are missing the point here. Further, I'm guessing you are not familiar with the perp's conduct. Read RM's posts in this thread. He knows what he is talking about. ZZZzzzzzzz is not a person filled with different opinions. He is a tumor.
