I think StreamlineTrade should be banned for being consistently stupid.
Consistent stupidity should never be tolerated in Chit Chat.

So funny how certain people spend their time saying what goes on in chit chat is beneath them, trashing what goes on in chit chat, yet rarely miss a opportunity to provide their opinions on how others should take chit chat.

I would think that since you say don't read the threads, and don't spend your time there, and don't really care from what you have said...that it is quite disingenious to even post any opinions on the matter.

You do so love telling other people what and how to think, don't you...

I disagree with you on your noise theory. I know this to be true because in the past, if I asked a certain post to be deleted because of it's content, it almost always was without fail and these were not noisy offenders. In fact, quite the opposite. Usually pretty quiet guys but guys I use to tangle with. I think the moderators are doing a fare job with CC. Considering they wanted to remove it altogether. I believe Joe and Baron are doing a fair job. If you have evidence to point to the contrary, please cite it rather then just saying otherwise. Like I'm suppose to take your word for it.

Again, I will say this, no one is required to read or post in CC or R&P. They do so at their own risk. If you don't like the usual suspects that post there then don't post! Amazing how easy that is. Baron and Joe cannot legislate taste on ET. Most of the comments in CC are pure garbage. Either they delete the whole forum altogether or fall back on the "if you bring it to our attention we'll do something about it" strategy. If you want to propose a better system, then freaking speak up instead of just saying they are not doing a good job.

I am sure Hapaboy along with many others, including myself, have engaged in name calling and cussing. Perhaps he gets carried a little overboard with his anti muslim, anti gay, anti liberal and anti freedom of speech and liberty diatribes.

The mods should make some basic ground rules, like no cussing and no personal attacks. Give an offender a warning or two and then ban his butt. All this takes effort, but I think Baron and his crew have done a great job and I hope they will force some civility. Please remember, freedom of speech does not mean you have the right to get in some one's face.
 
If you fine gentlemen would study your history and your current events, and learn something about racism and its consequences, then perhaps you would not spend your energies attacking those who attack racism. Perhaps you would instead re-direct your energies to fighting racism.

This is impossible. I never post into the Chit-Chat forum. If you use the ET search function, you can verify that on one occasion, I posted a one-liner joke into a non-Chit-Chat thread, which was later moved into Chit-Chat; and that there are no other postings by me in Chit-Chat. Nobody would characterize my one joke as bitching or whining.

Your statements about my commentary on specialists is absolute baloney. Anybody who read my comments about specialists can see that my comments were backed by very substantial proof, specific examples, analysis of NYSE rules and practices, references to legal documents and expert writings, and lots of other substance. Either you didn't know this because you are a moron, or you did know it and you are a liar.

I believe that if Baron sincerely wanted to run a website for traders, instead of a website based on the dissemination of hatreds against groups and individuals, he would have shut down the Chit-Chat forum, as soon as it began attracting idiots like you to the website.

You have a history of making personal attacks, intended to prevent me from participating on this website. Anyone who reviews that history can see what an utter and complete ignoramus and jealous moron you are. On the subject Mr. Rockford brought up however I have a comment.

I think that it is a good idea to have a chit chat forum and to allow people to post what he characterizes as "hate"...I note that I am much less likely (believe it or not) to verbally abuse a poster in the other threads as a result of the freedom to post my thoughts in that forum...I believe it has the same effect on other traders/posters as well.

The fact is that people can and do have strong feelings on a variety of subjects including religion and politics..Exercising the freedom to say what you want to on any subject seems to reduce levels of frustration and promote introspection...Whether you know it or not, this is actually a very good thing for all concerned..
