Thanks HPT. It's easy to get started working with price. Start with a single, easy to test idea that you think gives you an advantage in the market. Do gaps fill? Find out. If so, can you pick entry and exit rules that allow you to make money off of them? Or can you profit from gaps that don't fill? When listed stocks gap without news, can you make money fading them like Don? Then move on to the next idea. What happens when the market approaches critical points? Do you get enough follow through to make money? Or are the reversals consistent enough to take advantage of? And the next: Does afternoon strength translate into morning strength? Or morning weakness? Can you make money off it? Do markets reverse, consolidate, or follow though at certain times of day? Or certain days of the week? And on and on and on.
