Its quite possible this woman is really smart, but it just seems like such a funny interview, kudos to her for bringing more noobs into the market who we can carve on a daily basis.

One funny thing is that her strat sounds similar to mine, play the high flying small caps, and hype, I bought the Fitbit IPO market on open and sold it it 2 minutes later for a 2k profit, lol. It really does sound easy in hindsight, but it takes years of practice to know which IPO's are going to pop like that.

15-20 positions per day makes it sound like she doesnt know what shes doing though.

Maybe it boils down to the old addage " the best way to make a million dollars in the stock market is to start out with 2."

I am in the middle of a book that discusses the difference between luck and skill and how to determine which is playing a role in various outcomes such as sports and investing. Getting a few winning trades may deceive us as skill.

I would love to be the guy that works next to her desk at her prop firm.

Then again, her looks and cleavage may be too much of a distraction for me.

what is the book? My whole strategy is so spread that the only way I can make money is just good luck. The way I look at it, my job is to protect the account. Lady Luck's job is to make it money. I spend all day protecting the account from bad luck. But when she wants to do her thing I just let her go.

The book is called the Success Equation. I am in the middle of it and the content is good. How much of trading is skill and how much is luck I do not know. But it is not 100% skill. That is for sure.

in otherwords, protect yourself from bad luck, and allow yourself to benefit from good luck. And that aint easy. Only the most skillful traders can do it.

Don't confuse skill and luck. If you get lucky that is great but if you think it is skill the next time around it wont work.
Personally, I believe that we can work on both. We improve luck when we are more positive and don't do bad things.

Nope, not at all, apparently you missed that, in the scorecard i deem relevant, (money) shes killing me. But i do question the intelligence of anyone willing to take their clothes off for a living. Generally from what ive seen of those types of people "Ignorance is bliss" in otherwords the reason shes willing to do it is because shes so dopey she doesnt have even a remote thought about the consequences. (could be a good thought process for a trader)

Trust me your asking for a problem like that, LOL, back in the day when i was really rolling, A hot chick came into our office and my manager gave me the task of "training her", cause he thought he was doing me a favour.

Anyways, at the time i was using a little bit of muscle to push stocks to where i wanted them to go, then once they got to my point i would get out. I told her just to follow what i did and she would make money, basically i was giving her table scraps to get in her pants.

Anyways, she was dumb as dirt, and slow as fuck on the keys, so one day when we had a good short going i posted an offer for 25k shares while i was bidding a few ticks lower, trying to get out, she was slow getting out of the position, so i left my offer a few seconds longer, only to get stuffed for the entire thing...... stock went up a dollar and ended up costing me 25k, all because i was trying to get her out of 500 shares, and make her a couple hundred bucks, and get in her pants....... worst thing is i didnt even get a chance to work her. Just a complete failure from all different angles.
