Platforms with ZERO charge (or very low charge) that allow you to trade exchange spreads

Propwarrior, all jabbing aside, go free with some discount broker if that's what you want to do. You've been warned. I hope it works out and you can tell us how good it is and what suckers we are. Good luck with things.

how does this square with what you were saying in another thread.

I use the TT software, but their autospreader product leaves alot to be desired, and is WAY, WAY overpriced. GL and Eccoware have better spreading software that is more flexible, executes more legs, and at a much more reasonable price point. And this is coming from a trader that has used TT for four years.

It seems you were also looking at and recommending software that is cheaper. i dont know how you will wriggle and back pedal out of this one, no doubt you will give it a good go. enjoy.

I have to agree with Bone here, you get what you pay for. Garbage in...garbage out. Caveat emptor.

so if free platforms are in your own words 'garbage' why did you speak of them in a favourably here. To me that's double standards. owned.

I think E-Trade offers a watered down version of TT to execute futures on at no extra cost so that is one plus other then that, don't know anything specifically about them.

I never see free platforms are garbage. I said "garbage in...garbage out". They are not mutually exclusive. An expensive platform can be garbage...a free platform can be good. But if you choose "only" to make cost your primary concern, then yes, you run the risk of getting the wrong platform.

For example, I have used Ninja in the past. It's not free, but I think it's a piece of shit. Just because it costs money does not make it good.

Oh right, for a minute there I thought you were back pedalling faster than a Clinton wikileak drop. It's clear to all what you said now and then.

So, do you believe any of the platforms (I literally mean any) that have been mentioned in this thread so far are worth 500 dollars or more per month?

I still believe that you are confusing the front-end technology piece of the platform with how a broker/fcm at the backend computes margins. I am just curious whether you deem any of the front-ends worth >500 bucks/month?

Look, your question is meaningless. For a new trader starting out, hell no should they fork out 1500 a month for TT or CQG. Just like a bad driver has no use for a high performance sports car. But for a really good trader? Yeah TT and CQG will make a difference and yes, a really high performance sports car beats the shit out of a Toyota Camry. LOL. Come on man. There are a lot of variables here. Good software in the right hand does make a difference or prop firms wouldn't spend millions developing them. How many prop firms use Ninja? ZERO!

But I do agree with you,if a guy is not profitable he should not be wasting money on any high end software.
