I concur. Ninja's replay engine is really good. If you do look into it, I would STRONGLY suggest NT8, as it is much faster and will be supported for much longer than NT7. Not to mention, their interfaces are quite different. So stick with the newer one.

MotiveWave has a very advanced Replay Mode, which includes the ability to step forward tick by tick to see the candles/bars forming. (As long as you have a data source that has tick data.) Or you can step forward a specific sized bar at a time. With a minute bar, if you don't have tick data, it will simulate the forming bar.

I am still on NT7 for now. As I have tons of code to rewrite. Definitely go with NT8 since you just starting.
