Platform sim trading past data? (Equities)

I know MT4 allowed you to trade forex essentially “ going back in time “ so to speak, to practice sim trading..

anyone know of an equity platform that allows this? Most of my searching results just pull up back testing.
Also I use range bars FWIW so the platform needs these..

Ninjatrader. You can replay past data and it looks like in realtime.
Ninjatrader is for free and can be downloaded fully functioning. If you want realtime data you have to open an account.

Don't quote me on this by I believe thinkorswim by TD Ameritrade has an ondemand feature which goes into a simulator where you can practice your trading skills from past data (as if it was trading live).

I am also looking for new Brokers who offer Historical market data for backtesting. This will be amazing. I am in researching mode and when finished can make a new thread and explain the whole process.
