For capital taking firms, there are a few out there: DTTW(day trade the world), Nevis, MGB, Vortex Capital, Jitney etc.

For pure prop firms ala Swift of the old days, no capital contribution: These are existing currently as franchises of DTTW, you can start by googling True North Vantage.

I googled True North Vantage. That's what I saw on it's home page "This website and its contents are not directed to people resident in the Province of Ontario. Due to applicable regulatory requirements, residents of the Province of Ontario are asked to leave this website. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION TO PERSONS IN THE PROVINCE OF ONTARIO." Strange! Unfortunately, I'm resident of Ontario. Have any idea about Title Trading?

I would advise you learn to use the search function. Also, you make no mention if you are going to put up capital or trade pure prop.

Title is no longer around, and if they are, they are having issues: http://www.elitetrader.com/et/index.php?threads/what-happened-to-title-trading.291255/

You can ignore True North's disclaimer if you are going to trade prop for them, their ops is based in Toronto.

I finally found some information about branches of Day Trade the World. No capital required at all, but the payout is only 42%. It's a little bit too low.

I remember starting at Swift @35% even paying $500 to have the right to get THE training. So if you are not willing to take the financial risk and you are coming with no experience I dont see how bad is that! If you are good and consistent, you will be able to make it to 75% without deposit. Make your proof ;)
 
if your a good trader (and you know you are) then just put up the capital, make ridiculous profits and get a decent payout from a reputable firm. Payouts below 50% are a joke and I wouldn't touch that. If your unsure about your trading/strategy and will probably lose then it might be better to look for something different.. and learn at your own pace.

If your looking at Ontario, best bet would be the following as mentioned before
DTTW (floor), Vortex Capital Group (remote), Jitney (remote)
