Sounds like you might have a budding athlete on your handsPlanks... I started doing 2mns a while back than ordered the plank hand held wheel. Found it extremely back unfriendly, it is laying somewhere in the house, undisturbed. Not a plank fan, and very quickly gave up.
Worth of note my daughter after a couple of tries clocked 6mns, and @10 y o is already showing a 6 packs when flexing. Before summer she was competing (in tkdo) 4lbs heavier and still had some fat on the belly, but it seems mostly gone.
You could fit her in a bodybuilder leg though, so it's all relative, like chin ups planks must be harder for heavier folks.
