put 400,000 in the numerator.

Then get your calculator out of your bum

Then divide by 326.02 = 1226.9185

I got 1225 shares for the current one and only short.

All future shorts will have the same 400k per entry for whatever the number of shares I get at that time they will vary of course.

The dollar-number entry way to state something simple is not necessary. Nobody gives a shit about the dollar value. All they want is entry price, and exit price, with number of shares. 1225 is the correct number I rounded out to at that time of transaction

As stated my yardstick is 400k per transaction. Its easier for me to keep things in check this way. Its just a psychological thing. Number of shares hardly matters to me. The $400k matters a lot. Because I can keep on hand multiples of $400k in accounts ready to to be deployed.

FYI, all pending shorts except for the new one today have been cleaned off the plate as they have not triggered as should be obvious.


Overnight, the only recourse you have now is to get me expelled from ET. This is where you are going? It will be a sad day for me as I do love it here. But hey, this is a BEAR market and I know I rattle people's cages easily.

$400k is my magic number.


377 is a Fibonacci number of great signifiance to me. I rounded that to 400 to be my selection for all my trade entries. Ditto for eurUsd or whatever else I trade Long or Short.
