Regarding the Russian economy, the video has "we are predicting negative six percent for 2022."
and
"The European economy, we're reducing down the growth levels to about 2.6 percent"
So, the Russian economy is predicted to shrink, while the economy of the rest of Europe is predicted to grow.
Don't let the zero line fool you, it can be confusing ..............
The West had predicted a total collapse of the Russian economy soon after the sanctions were imposed. fast forwar several months to July 2022 and recently they were expecting -8.6% for the Ruskies Economy revised now to -6.6 %. That is a yuge improvement in their expectations for russia. But dig this: Russia will still get hammered but ..... as they are now stating and finding out - by a whole lot less than was expected.
For europe ont he other hand they were expecting yuge growth figures god only knows how high but now they are revising that down to a mere +2.6% growth.
So, who is taking a bigger hit? Europe is getting nailed by a big hit in growth and Russia which was expected to totally collapse is actual only expected to go down negative 6% approx.
