Have I got this sequence of events correct?
Friday you started a short position in QQQ at 313.66
Tight stop at 314.63.
An hour later you decided to ignore that stop.
This morning you had a cast in stone stop at 316.55
15 minues later you uncast it.
Now at the end of the day the stop is moved again to 319.13

Rough numbers: If you started with a 1/2 percent of your account at risk you have increased it to 2.8%.
You have increased your risk by over 500%

After market notes for anybody reading this thread:


Please expect all sorts of weird movement in STOPS I place. Yes of course I do know that once a Stop is placed it should not be moved. All the gurus say this loud and clear.

I cannot follow such dogma. Sorry amigos. I just cannot do it. It restricts me too much. It might destroy me because it would surely appear that I have no discipline in Stops setting.

Once the down Trend re-develops AFTER the bear rally is over (assuming I am right in calling this a bear rally) my Stops will be very orderly indeed. Where will they be? So far away that nobody can find them. I go for 1% under a significant Wave low. Then I raise and raise in the same manner. If I am riding the Trend correctly I will get stopped out 1% below the 4th wave in a bull market or 1% above the 4th wave in a Bear market. This is outstanding profit as it captures more than TA of Stocktrends author said as max. 33%.

However the above is only for the CORE position.
 
But as you have seeen here I trade the moves in real time too. These will be in and outs but will follow a similar way of thinking - but only when the trend gets underway. Right now the bear rally is over or not over? So my stops are going to be haphazard.

But, let the trend to downside develop and you will see a very orderly STOP pattern even on the 5-min. timeframe.
 
But bottomline to keep in mind is this:

I am a sinner and do rash and brash stuff at any given time as I play by nobody's rules or teachings.

I had a library of 300 books on TA and FA. I read them all, cover to cover. The girl who lived with me during this marathon study put up with this devotion to study as it cut into HER time with me. She tolerated it. She cooked and did everything else a loyal woman does and I took her out as much as time permitted. But obviously I knew she sacrificed bigtime

She has been rewarded in advance for this magnificent gesture in that she has a bought and paid for slew of houses and her parents have a big plot of land with 3 houses on it in a foreign country. She is set for life. I did this becasue I knew I could lose it all, so I took care of her first.

Now I just don't give a $%#^ if I perish - I do but I don't that much! Only person to suffer will be me. I have no obligations to anybody.


The books were put into a truck and given away to Goodwill. Every single one of them. I have none left and do not miss a single one of them.

I develop everything totally solo. Clues come from here and there and serendipity is my best friend always has been.

For example today I bumped into a nuance of the Advance Decline Line that I had not considered before. Good stuff happens most of the time.

Well with your first stop of $314.63 you were risking $0.97 per share
With your stop at $319.13 you are now risking $5.47 per share
Looks to me like your risk has increased over 500%
