I have not gotten any spyware or run into any bugs since I bought this computer 2 years ago. Of course, I dont visit porn sites or click links in my email to buy viagra so maybe thats why I have never encountered any bugs/spyware. So I guess if you are doing those things, then yeah...you need a specialized browser to protect you, just like if you sleep with hookers, you need extra thick condoms.
