Great post (the kin), funny you post that, a friend of mine was telling me that bagel prices near him were going to surge higher. Bagels last year were around .50 cents he told me, middle of 2007 they raised them to .60, well he just told me they are raising them to .90 CENTS, a 50% increase. He said the reason was because of the increase in price of flour.
