pit vs. electronic volume

Quote from TraderZones:

anyone know how to sleuth the actual volume of pit vs electronic volume for:

natural gas (NG)
Crude (CL)
Heating Oil (RB)
Unleaded (RB)

Their website seems to combine them, making it hard to separate...

Maybe in a quote system you can enter CL and CLE and see if they give different volumes.

From a practical standpoint, What importance volume has, unless you're trading hundreds of million $s?

If the spread is not too wide, you'll get a decent order.

However, ALWAYS use limit orders.

You are not the sharpest tool in the shed Mister Garcia!

I believe nymex is roughly 90% electronic in futures.......which has been pretty constant with most exchanges for the last few years. Options are almost 100% pit traded I think

I love to give advice:
I'll give you one.
Stop whining and start making money and enjoy having a life.

The advice given to the OP is good, if the spread acceptable, you'll get a decent fill after hours, unless you're trading hundreds of contracts.
