Dude, you nailed it. That's one of my biggest issues with top heavy federal gov. That's the approach on too many issues, including this one.

I'm not opposed to making it more difficult for people who simply shouldn't be armed, but why is there an attempt to make us all guilty because of gang bangers and lunatics regarding this issue.
 
When people have their backs against the wall, they will say anything.
Stricter gun control is on the way and both sides know it.

Much as you hear me rail against the government, I understand that some government is necessary.
