the crt on the left is soon to be replaced by another 19" lcd. i'm not planning on keeping a quietly-buzzing cathode ray emitter that can only use analog ;) i use it for my real-time scanning during the day.

you have some good attention to detail... the mirror on the left is to reflect sunlight during the day and lighten the area behind the monitors, for eye comfort.

My old system ran one dvi and one vga and I could tell a difference in the white levels that started to be annoying.

which video card / chipset? thx

The only difference I can see is on my lower left hand monitor. It's anal, but it's also on an extra cable cuz it's too far for a normal one.

But it is more fuzzy, FWIW. And it has a gender-bender for the cable-to-cable connection. So ti's going thru four connections.

Streaming seems fine on all mons.

oh, the vga extension / gender conversion really does degrade quality... its even more obvious when i go to bestbuy and see the array of monitors EXTREMELY fuzzy...

the difference u see in the lower left of the monitor might be due to interference... if u have a phone or speaker next to it, the magnetic field might distort it[?] ...

can u post a pic with all the charts and blinky lights in action :)

I'm actually somewhat suprised to see the plasma screen as a centerpiece, wouldn't it make a great deal more sense to have a nice big LCD instead?
