Does it matter? You can use any make/model with 16:9 ratio and a VESA mount in the back. Just rotate your wide monitor 90 degree when you mount it and define in Windows (only Win7 starts to support it) the monitors are in portrait mode instead of landscape mode.

Thanks for that.

Amazing technology! Earlier, software depended on hardware. Now, we can make the hardware behave as per the software. A full circle, wow..:) :D

I use a 3x3 setup; 8-24" LCDs /w room for one more. I found that the "ergo" type stands were too flimsy to support 3 high so I built a free-standing bilboard and used wall-mounts for each monitor.

Trading (or trying to) from the beach...

That's what my trading set up looks like. Heaps of monitors are too hard to take travelling.

My office chair kept cutting off the circulation in my legs and became very uncomfortable after a few hrs. The recliner has wooden arms where I can operate my mouse from, and the top monitors display my higher time-frames, which only require a glance. As a day-trader, most of my time is spent analyzing the lower time-frames.

Yes, it's all very comfortable. I can read or watch TV and just wait for my alerts to signal.

Comfort is everything when seated at a desk. I know the feeling of an office chair that gets uncomfortable after a few hours.
I take breaks from sitting and get up and do squats and lunges at my desk just to keep the blood circulating. I am going to bring in a stability ball to switch on and off from the chair.
Had one years ago and gave it away, now I wished I had kept it. Time to purchase another and keep the back happy.

Thanks for info on stands was thinking of extending with a collar - maybe now will look at wall mounted as 3rd level will be 'daily' alerts rather than the tape.

I think LT I will gravitate to the lazyboy and wall setup now that screens are big enough for my shortsight. I will note the need for a flat wooden maouse pad on the chair arm!

Same style it seems - crocodile trading - sit back and wait for the market to come to you.
