1900X1200 on the 24's.

I don't watch movies or anything else, just for work.

cool, that seems to be the sweet spot. I have samsung 1920x1200 and acer 2048x1152, I had to try each one. I like them both.

Here is mine, although keep in mind, extra screen space does not automatically make you a millionaire :D

I trade just emini s&p futures and was thinking of getting 8-22: monitors all for multiple time frames from macro monthly-1minute charts. Do you use all 10 of your screens? also, what do u think of samsung monitors?

Yes the the green and black charts are market profile on CQG.
No I'm purely a discretionary point and click trader, I wouldn't trust a machine to trade for me, this way I don't look to kick the dog if I lose it lands right at my doorstep, it can never be the system/algo's/indicators fault
It was my old workplace at Marex Trading in London, I since moved to Dubaiptg for tax free beach life and have the same set up here less 1 TT monitor on which I used to have ags.
Sadly I'm not long at the 116 handle...

What are the taxes like? Are you a U.S. citizen?

People say the eminis are manipulated - possibly by the U.S. gov.t holding up the market.

Would there even be a way to tell if that market was "manipulated"? Do you think it has been manipulated?

Running a basic Pentium dual core desktop to swing trade stocks and futures- 3 Acer 20" monitors. The graphics card is a basic one, but I added a Matrox Triplehead2go- really easy set up and no problems whatsoever. The speakers are Harman Kardon Sound Sticks w/ sub.

For the cost, I think the matroxdualhead2Go is a nice component to have IF your monitors are relatively the same size. It considers the 2 monitors as 1 big monitor which means that if you have 2 applications (ex chart and order entry) , you have to manually position the 2 onto each screen, size it manually on each monitor. If you hit the maximize button on one of the apps, it will blow up on the 2 monitors covering the other app. If you opt instead for an actual dual card plugged onto a PCI slot, the above example would blow up only to the 1 screen where it originally resided. the Dualhead might not work well if you have a 30" and a 17" monitor .

I set up the triplehead just as it is marked on the unit. monitors 1-2-3 from left to right on the triplehead match up monitors 1-2-3 left to right, as they are in front of me.

Also, when you maximize an app on the triplehead it does not "invade" its neighbor, it stays within its own screen.

The set up software lets you have it as one big screen, or 3 individuals. That's how I have it (3 individuals). The other is "gamer mode".

No problems at all.

What is the price of dualhead or tripplehead togo? Isn't about the same price as 2 x dual graphics cards? Here's a graphics card with 1 g ram for $39.99 that will handle 2 monitors, 2 of these will handle 4 monitors for less than $80 bucks.
