My guess is Rio, you can see the statue (O Cristo Redentor) in the distance in one of the pictures.

We have the same statue as Rio which we call Cristo-Rei which would translate into something like King Christ or Christ the King

Thought of Rio too, but then saw the bridge and got confused. Should have followed to Portugeese lead though.
