My current setup: Total 21

- Got rid of all CRTs and replaced with the LCD screens. Space and power saver.
- New screens are mostly 22" and 23" wide. A few 24"
- Added a few more screens by using some jigs bolted to my book shelves and desks.
- Tried to form a bullet shape viewing sphere so that no screen is too far from my eyes. Placed the larger monitors farther from me. Smaller ones closer.

This is my own version of economy stimulus plan. Though most of the proceed went to Korea (Samsung).

Not here to disparage anybody's setup. But, for intraday futures trading here is my take on the subject of monitors needed if one is trading one market only. One monitor is sufficient, 2 is better. For many years, the white background was okay, then evolved to gray, now only dark black. I have 23" and 24" monitors. I only see candlesticks and the chart tells me what is next with acceptable accuracy. I never look at other markets or news, hence the 2 monitors needed only for fast picture and slow picture. I have never been able to see a benefit in looking at other markets while trading ES or NQ intraday, since the price can only move up down or sideways.

nope i only have 3 monitors. that is all i find necessary. my setup is on the first page of this thread.

I didn't mean to offend. I'm was just curious to know what kind of benefit you were deriving from such an investment in hardware.

Just to clarify:

Jay has so many cars because he loves collecting them, driving them and working on them.

Lindsey had so many guitars because he loves the uniqueness of each, how each sounded and how each felt in his hands.

Imelda on the other hand was simply a greedy insane bitch.
