Its not mine but looks pretty nice:

people, remember your trading success is not measured by the amount of fancy monitors you have.
the only measure of success in this business is the amount of thrill you get!
look at cramer and his silly yellow cups and all that. very low tech. but ahhh the thrill of all this !!!!![]()
be consistent. be thrilled

Slightly updated monitor layout to what I find the most efficient (4) 24" LCD array.
Center of top LCD @ eye level. The approx 28-30" distance I sit from the array allows me to view all 4 without any neck rotation/tilt. This was an annoyance with all 4 lined up in horizontal fashion.

Did you consider a quad cube shaped setup? Any reasons for setting them up the way you did over a cube config? Seems like a cube would require less turning of the head and neck movement?
Quote from limitdown:
uh, let's see:
1) the heat generated from the monitors requires seperate fan
2) the risk of turnover / tip over
3) the requirements of a solid desk to support the concentrated weight,
4) the ego factor of a spread out rig instead of an "also ran" desktop setup (found at most trading desks)
just a few thoughts came to mind...

I dont agree
I daytrade crude oil and its movement is highly dependent on S&P, DJIA and EURUSD. Sometimes it also takes cues from Gasoline. Therefore I need to have at least 4 monitors so that each chart is in front of me and I know the exact moment any movement happens in any of them. And not to mention that I need to look at different times frames of crude oil. Therefore multiple monitors are very important if one wants to succeed.
However this is NO WAY means that multiple monitors = guaranteed success.
