That looks like the exact same desk I have. And defintely the same mouse pad. This is wierd... :)

And the shredded armrests, repaired with duct tape?
Couple tough trades will do that.

Armrest really not shredded - My ideal chair height results in armpads constantly bashing against desk egdes - and yes the bashing happens a lot during those long losing periods - so why not get myself some cheap insurance than replacing expensive chairs every month. :D

This is what happens when you return to the office after working from home over Christmas .......

Though the Sponge Bob Square Pants wrapping paper was a nice touch.

Is it just me or does anyone get put off by monitors that don't match? I've found that it really distracts me when I have monitors that are multiple sizes/models unless they're organized REALLY well (like cinemassive).

and again

those monitors are way too spread out. I have the same duct tape issues with the chair banging the "desk".

I'm going to buy 2 more monitors that match (4 + laptop) and put them in a rack. I dont want to have to move my head to see something & yes I'm bothered by monitors that do not match.

He is probably a fixed income trader hence the double height screens. If the display setup makes it easier to make money then it looks good to me.

Out of my 15 monitors, only a few of them are identical.

Different technologies, makes, models, sizes, colors. Bought at different times over about 9 years.

Would I ditch all the existing ones and buy 15 x of the newest make/model I like? Err.... no.

I don't choose style over substance.

LOL! Yup. Bugs the heck out of me as well. I solved the problem by getting rid of all except one :)

Do what pleases you and your pocket - no need though for un-constructive criticism on what someone else prefers - its more like trading styles one man's meat is another's poison.
