Yeah, it hurts but I am blaming the polution of São Paulo city for now.
Quote from TradingPilot:
Hmm I miss the smell of Sao Paulo!!
Nothing like wiping all the pollution off your face in order to keep your pores from clogging up with black stuff!
Or getting robbed at gunpoint at a stop light during the day.
What I miss the most is finding out that my buildings security guards where being bribed by robbers, allowing them to come in with machine guns.
Those were the days!!

These are the days...nothing much has changed but it is not as bad as it sounds. I am sure you have good memories as well. I hope. Right?![]()
Quote from mgookin:
I have many Brazilian friends.
They try repeatedly to get me to go there on vacation. Some of my friends go with them.
I saw too many Dateline/ 60 Minutes episodes as a kid where they show street gangs robbing and killing tourists over minimal amounts of money plus the corrupt police. I'm not that hard up for a good time. I enjoy plenty of good times without going there.
I'm sure like any area it has its good areas and bad areas; good people and bad people. And I'm sure locals there see news stories about crime in the USA.
Maybe one day I'll go but for now I choose otherwise.
