Pictures of your trading stations

Before buying I reviewed lots of posts on this site so I thought I'd show the computer I ended up with.

Here’s the new trading computer; XPS 720 with four monitors. The details are:

Dell XPS 720, IntelCore2 Processor Q6600 (2.4 Ghz, 1066 FSB)
Quad Core Technology and 8 MB cache
4 GB RAM at 800 MHz
4 Widescreen E207FP 20” Flat Panel Displays
Keyboard, Mouse, Speakers, Tower
4-monitor stand—mounts the screens in a rectangle
4-year warranty and technical support
TV tuner card
Dual drives—CD/CDRW/DVD/DVDRW
Windows XP Operating System-I did not want Vista
Microsoft Office and other Software

Operating trouble-free so far, tech support is great, apparently the higher end machines are supported out of Canada although with billing stuff I had to talk to an uninformed foreign person.

Wanted to receive a price off of HP and Gateway but both would not sell a computer without Vista installed--I wanted XP. I also received a corporate discount which was only available through Dell so they were the only realistic choice for me. Previous computer was a Gateway which can serve as a back-up now.

The four monitors are excellent, a tv on in one screen, Internet in others, Word or Excel file in another. The multiple screens eliminate having to click Windows up and down from the bottom of the single screen. I also like to compare info and charts side by side. Was impressed with it playing a video clip at the same time the tv remains on.

One thing a super fast computer will definitely allow a trader to do is—to lose money even faster. :D
