i use mass monitors and am very happy with them. running 5 years now with no issues whatsoever.

One thing missing in many of these pictures, windows.

No way I can stand staring at a wall. Too claustrophobic. Need to let the sunshine in, even a nice rainy day has a calming effect. There's something to feng shui.

You know what, for some reason, I think he is right as well. When I am in brighter places I usually feel more happy. But when I'm inside trading and I have the blinds closed all the way and it's somewhat dark, I usually feel down in the dirt or just "blah"
 
i strongly disagree...

do you have a setup where your windows are behind your monitors? it reduces the contrast on your screen. my windows are facing east, so my blinds are almost always up anyway.

if i want sunshine, i go take a walk.

i'll post a pic of my current setup (for the next 2 weeks) in a few more days.
