I don't know how anyone does it with any less, in fact I need more to see with.

(8) Dell 2010's (2) Colorgraphic Quad PCI/PCI Express cards. One Dell Precison 640 (2) 3.6 Xeons and 4 MB RAM. (2) Internal RAID Hard Drives, (1) External Networked Maxtor for backup redundency, and another maxtor directly into the workstation. Dual WAN via a Sonicwall TZ170 with flow modulation, Cable 8MB downlaod, DSL 6MB download. If one goes out the other kicks in. Both bandwith is used and modulated for normal use.

I spread trading software, charts and news software all over them.

Very nice setup.
Just curious, what do you use to have the monitors held up? I know a few people have linked to sites to where you can buy stuff to hold up monitors like that.

what video cards are you using???

The 3007 needs some kind of special dual DVI card that is kind of expensive in order to show the full 2560x1600 resolution.

So I have a PCI-E GForce 7800 GTX (256mb)that supports the 3007 and 1 of the 2001FPs. ($399 Canadian on sale)

And for the other 2001FP I have a PCI chepo $65 GForce FX 5200 (256mb) that works perfectly for my needs.

The GeForce 7600GT and 7900GT now come with a dual-link DVI output, so I believe that they should both be able to drive this beast.

My study/library at home.. Personally I prefer to go by the Occam's razor philosophy of a set up. Easy to set up easy to tear down, no distractions. Just pure trading.

Sweet, is that tradestation on all the screens?

On all but the silver screen and part of the first screen. The silver one has up Merrill Pro that I use for execution. I demand fast execution and good prints.
