Amazing,
This thread started off with people showing off their trading stations...........and when the biggest badest trade station comes along you guys regress and behave like vindictive teenage girls toward the rich pretty girl on the block......
In a way this is a microcosm of what has happened to the once internationally beloved USA.
When you put crabs in a bucket they all die. It is not because they can't climb out (they can), but rather because everytime one gets close to climbing out the others pull him back to the bottom of the bucket...............

Seriously though, sweet setup. Who care if it's not uber functional... it's one of those things that you do when you're killing it... like trading from a 100 ft. yacht. I have a few of those types of "upgrades" planned for the future. My LCD upgrade was only going to be 4 or 5 of the Sony 24"s... so Maestro one upped me there... but mine is gonna be mounted on a huge granite slab! For stability of course.

Now Iâm really confused.
You want to find gems with âextraordinary talents and passionâ? Indeed there are many such gems on ET and other forums. But how are your actions actually achieving that goal when there is a much more direct approach? Why not research our posts and contact the âgemsâ privately? Your actions only serve to bring out critical, argumentative or jealous sides of us. I personally enjoy a good debate, which is most of the reason I'm writing this message, BTW.
Your first two photos were deliberately angled, lit and cropped to look ambiguous. Why didnât you first post the realistic photos and save us all the confusion? Ahh, but then you play stupid and say we created the idea of a fake photo. I guess it is our fault for being critical of obvious deception, right?
You bring up your large number of publications and your experience in aerospace to rebut points made by nononsense, on the grounds that you are more experienced and know more than him. Anyone arguing like that in real life would be laughed at. Certainly no one with 150 peer reviewed scientific publications would be childish or condescending enough to use that fact to rebut someone else, even if that person was not on your credibility or intelligence level. Are these peer-reviewed publications, or papers you made available on your web site, which is currently under construction?
Now you say you are looking for ânew blood in my companyâ. But you come off sounding like Donald Trump. You show off your toys, boast about your finances and experience, then announce you are messing with our heads to observe our reaction and find qualified people. Why not offer a contest and million-dollar prize and get a TV network to film the grueling competition? Seriously you might make some good money and have a ton of fun with a TV show contract.
I will boast about one thing. Iâve been on Elitetrader longer than you. ET is a great resource for traders. Many of us participate in invitation-only forums and countless private discussions. You would have done far better to find âgemsâ, ideas and discussions by writing honest, helpful posts and PMs instead of trying to show off and mess with our heads (as you admit) to see some useless âspectrum of reactionsâ that is totally unremarkable given the obvious demographics on Elitetrader. You ought to understand this from your science background. Many on ET struggle to make a profit. Of course they are going to react critically or jealously to anyone talking caviler about a 24 LCD screen setup and seeking ânew blood in my companyâ. Did you really not foresee the reaction or is this just one more baiting tactic and ego trip for you?
