He'll have a much better chance when Hillary gets in, and by the tone of her speeches, Hillary's not even ashamed of that fact.

Hypothetically speaking, why not? They would start a war with the wrong country, and not listen to the counsel of their own military advisors who actually have a clue, either before or after. What could be safer?
