The monitors are mounted on an Ergotron Deskstand 100. 5 monitors is the most it can hold. The gaps come from the way I like to have the monitors angled. I also like them as low to the desk as possible so I don't have to turn my head up too much to look at the ones on top.
The monitors are Planar PX191's and they are very sweet. Those are older model Planar lcd's for the workstation on the left of the picture.
