Awesome

What's that thing on top of your CPU in the back, is it a projector?

Also, did you build that table?

Thanks! The thing on top of the CPU is the DSL modem and remote sensor, As far as buiding it....nah, it's from Ikea :D

Your post reminded me of my time at Swiss Bank on Black NeXTs and then at First Chicago on them too.... great machines for their time, shame it never worked out for them.

Mac

It was great hardware. My units were used on one of the fx desks. The only machine closer to my heart was the SGI O2 toaster.

Mr. Paul, you trade with a trackball?

Well yes, for 90% of the time. The other 10% I use a wirless traditional style optical. I have to say I have better speed and accuracy with a trackball than with any traditional style mouse I have ever tried whether it be in trading, surfing, gaming etc.

What do you trade?

I had a couple of screw ups when trading futures, I'd drag somewhere I shouldn't have with CQGTrader, wish I had a better mouse back then.

Now fortunately with stocks, it is just maybe 3 - 5 keys that I use to trade a stock, makes it very easy...

Agree. It's the only mouse I ever use, plus it can be used with either hand.

Yeah, I just trade stock. I could imagine it getting trickier if you had to perform more complex order methods.
