Archaeologists have found a striking likeness of Marge Simpson on an ancient Egyptian coffin. While “The Simpsons” is famous for predicting the future, it seems that this time, the tables have turned, with ancient Egyptians apparently predicting Marge Simpson!
The wooden coffin, dating back
3,500 years, features a woman with a tall blue hairstyle, yellow skin and a green dress remarkably similar to Marge’s iconic look.
The discovery was made by a team of archaeologists working in a tomb in Egypt. They were stunned by the uncanny likeness. Was this coincidence? Or did Marge Simpson know how to travel back in time?
Nine months after the mummy’s coffin discovery was revealed, social media exploded with users commenting on the striking similarity to “The Simpsons” matriarch, which caused the image to go viral.
One Reddit user suggested that “finally, something has predicted The Simpsons instead of vice versa.” Another said “Marge Simpson was an Egyptian Priestess in a past life,” another jokingly said “I knew the Simpsons have been around for a long time, but damn.”
The coffin lid was found in a recently discovered cemetery and is likely from a historically rich area like Luxor or the Valley of the Kings. The lid is well-preserved and shows intricate art depicting ancient beliefs about the afterlife.
