1) I found out the hard way that the P&L at the top of the contract window does not include commissions but the max loss allowed per day does.

2)I was thinking/would have thought I'd have the whole thirty days to finish even if I had no chance of funding. Turns out after 10 trading days you're done regardless. (I was just beginning to dig myself out of the hole when it abruptly ended)

3) Psychologically, I think I was trying way too hard. IOW more concerned with beating RCG than just trading and letting my edge add up as I should.
Especially inexcusable since RCG never stepped up to the plate to begin with.

Don't mean to sound like I'm making excuses. All the above is ultimately MY fault.

I've already signed up for a second one. This time I'm zooming out to a little longer time frame and concerning myself with nothing but the scouting criteria.

Everyone here knows you are absolutely honest and completely fearless. I think most people here know that RCG is dishonest and completely terrified of showing his trades. The contrast between your character and his could not be more stark. The animal analogy is the timber wolf and the weasel.

I can see why you picked it as a dual goal of making it so rcg could not cheat and potential funding.

Myself it just looks like an elaborate way to take suckers money.
Returns/losses are always going to be asymmetrical in short time duration's. Combine that with a max loss per/day disqualification criteria ending the contest and you are hosed.

So in effect you could be a good trader but you need to be exceptionally lucky to meet their criteria. case in point now that you have disqualified yourself for funding things are turning around.

Think about it this way , if one day's poor returns could disqualify you why can't one days great return re-establish your eligibility?

3) Shit rcg not only didn't step up to the plate, he didn't even dress out and go to the dugout. I guess he figured he could saunter on over to the concession stand and pretend like he was the winner instead.
